 ompleted in 1999, Theuerkauf has become an inspiring learning facility that reflects the character and heart of its 500 kindergarten-fifth grade students. The new buildings were designed to include new classrooms, modernized library learning center, multi-use room with a cafeteria and auditorium, daycare center, and teacher's workroom. The modern, steel roof and the vivid color schemes, plum, orange, and yellow, create a warm and inviting atmosphere for the students and surrounding community. "Walk by the Bay", a 350 foot sculptural steel fence based on student art encloses the school and reflects the wildlife of nearby Shoreline Park.
