Site Selection – Providing site assessments, feasibility studies, and researching developmental restrictions to determine site usability.

Entitlement Approval – Providing materials for and assisting in obtaining approvals from Planning and Public Works departments.

Master Planning – Providing conceptual development models, infrastructure requirements, design guidelines and presentation materials for District-wide and campus-wide programs.

Site Planning – Providing infrastructure requirements, pedestrian, bike and automobile circulation systems, and site utility systems conceptual designs.

Site Design – Design of plazas, courtyards, walkways and paved areas; selection and layout of plant materials; site utility systems; design of site elements such as fountains, walls, trellises, shade structure, gates and fences; design of onsite roadways, parking lots and service paths.

Building Design – Providing architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and specialty design for buildings and structures.

Public Art Design – Design and engineering of stand-alone or architecturally integrated public artwork.

Presentation Materials – Providing renderings, artist’s conceptions, three-dimensional electronic models, fly-throughs, PowerPoint presentations and other materials for public presentations.

Community Presentations – Coordinating and making project-related presentations to community groups, boards, commissions and other organizations.

Construction Documentation – Providing drawings, specifications and other materials for regulatory approval and public bidding of construction projects.

Construction Administration – Providing support during construction including project meetings, submittal review, construction contractor information requests, change orders, and project closeout.

BGD does not provide engineering services in-house but has ongoing relationships with many qualified engineering firms providing services on a subconsultant basis, including structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, landscape, cost estimating, acoustic, audio-visual and other specialty consultants. In this way, BGD can provide the qualified professionals most suited to the project as part of the design team.
